Western Cape Liquor Authority

The Western Cape Liquor Authority is the regulator of the retail sales and micro-manufacturing of liquor within the Western Cape. Further, the WCLA is responsible for monitoring and enforcement of compliance within the provisions of the Western Cape Liquor Act 4/2008. It is also mandated to educate persons engaged in the sale and supply of liquor and educate the general public about the social harms brought about by liquor abuse.
