The Klout of Creativity Creds

Creative accolades are critical currency in our business, and few seem to matter more than those that come from Creativity magazine. The daily Top 20 list is said to be the standard bearer of greatness and creative creds are awarded to the brands and shops Creativity rewards. This week, in the midst of wrath brought by Hurricane Sandy, Draftfcb earned its 27th Top 20 honor of 2012 when a spot forCox Communications created by Todd Tilford and his team in Chicago ranked as high as no. 8.
 
Among others that have placed on the acclaimed list include Oreo and Jamaica “Streetscapes” from New York, Kmart and Dow from Chicago; Compumundo, Piero, Eterna Cadencia, ZonaJobs, KY Gel and JVC from Argentina; Lisbon Zoo and Harmony XL-Fit from Portugal; Choko La from Draftfcb Ulka and EA Mass Effect 3 from San Francisco. Oreo’s final Daily Twist ranked no. 1, just as the Mars Rover Lands Twist did in July. Oreo’s History Print campaign, a collaboration between New York and Paris, was ranked tops in March. Overall, Draftfcb campaigns were named Creativity’s Pick of the Day 8 times this year.
